In 2003, the Unitarian Universalist Society hosted a luncheon to benefit Shelter House's daily operations.  It has been held nearly every year since then in early June. Society members provide salads, breads, desserts and drinks and invite the Iowa City community to attend and enjoy the homemade food. 

Many repeat patrons say it's one of the best little benefits in town!  Again this year, everyone is invited.  Please come...  Suggested Donation: $8
