JOB LAB
Job Lab is open to the public and is equipped with computers to search for employment opportunities, create resumes, and apply for jobs. Our current hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9-11am, Wednesday 1-3pm, and Friday by appointment. Our employment case manager and volunteers are also available to:
- Help create or update your resume
- Provide information on current job openings
- Assist with interview tips and practice
Additional resources
- Meet with recruiters on-site from local companies hiring for immediate openings
- Employment, life skills, and computer skills workshops
- Interview and work clothes
- Access to hundreds of employers in our online database
JOB TRAINING
Participants in case management are eligible for Shelter House job training programs and employment readiness classes. 
Our training programs focus on
- Job readiness and employability skills training
- Identifying interest/skills within a particular field
- Building employment resume and references
- Learning and applying new job skills
- Providing on-site job coaching/development for interns
- Securing employment placement if available
