Shelter House provides both emergency and short-term transitional housing to men, women, children and the disabled and elderly.
During the 2010/2011 operating year, Shelter House provided shelter and supportive services to 618 individuals for a total of 18,437 nights stayed. One hundred sixteen individuals in addition to shelter residential clients accessed the Drop-In Center throughout the year. They were offered access to shower and laundry facilities, phone, haircuts, and resource referrals.
In addition to temporary housing, Shelter House also offers many supportive services that help individuals and families make the transition to more stable and productive lives.
